As a Senior Legal Business Partner within a cybersecurity company specialized in advanced threat detection and response solutions, you will operate in a deep‑tech environment covering XDR, SOC and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) offerings, significantly enhanced by artificial intelligence. Sekoia’s solutions are designed to strengthen the resilience of critical IT infrastructures for large enterprises and complex organizations against increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, within a context of high regulatory, operational and commercial constraints.
You will act as a Senior Legal Business Partner to Sales, Partnerships and Operational teams, supporting the commercialization of high‑value cybersecurity solutions, the structuring of indirect go‑to‑market models (channel, MSSPs, integrators) and the company’s international growth. This role is intended for a highly experienced profile, comfortable with complex negotiations, enterprise accounts and mission‑critical technology environments, and able to balance legal risk management with go‑to‑market acceleration in a fast‑scaling cybersecurity ecosystem.
Your missions
- Commercial Contracts & Operations
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of IT, cybersecurity and commercial agreements, including distribution, reseller and strategic partnership agreements; SaaS and software licensing agreements; cybersecurity services, SOC offerings and professional services contracts; complex commercial frameworks.
- Act as a legal business advisor on strategic deals, including enterprise and multi‑country transactions; tenders, RFPs and high‑value negotiations; structuring scalable and commercially efficient contractual models.
- Support Sales, Procurement and Partner teams as a trusted legal sparring partner, ensuring deal velocity while maintaining controlled risk exposure.
- International Operations & Risk Management
- Collaborate on the management of legal and contractual risks across operations in close coordination with key stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory and cybersecurity requirements are pragmatically embedded into commercial contracts, without undermining competitiveness.
- Deliver risk‑based, business‑oriented legal advice aligned with cybersecurity market standards.
- Intellectual Property & Technology Strategy
- Provide legal support on intellectual property matters, including management and protection of Sekoia’s IP portfolio; software licensing and IP provisions within commercial and partner agreements.
- Support technology commercialization, product integrations and strategic alliances from a contractual and IP perspective.
- Strategic Projects & Cross‑Functional Initiatives
- Lead the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiative: contract process design and optimization; stakeholder coordination across Legal, Sales and Operations; tool selection and implementation.
- Work closely with Legal, Procurement, Tech, IT and Security teams to strengthen governance, improve operational efficiency and support legal transformation initiatives.
📍 The position can be based in Paris, Rennes or fully remote. Professional trips may be required.

- You have extended experience (8–12+ years) as a legal advisor in‑house within a tech / software / cybersecurity company or in a law firm with strong exposure to IT, SaaS, IP and complex commercial negotiations.
- You have proven experience supporting Enterprise sales and key accounts, and Channel, distribution, and partner ecosystems.
- You have proven experience in international, multi‑jurisdiction transactions.
- You have strong expertise in IT and cybersecurity contracts.
- You have extended expertise in leading and participating in strategic commercial negotiations.
- You have expertise and knowledge of SaaS and software licensing models.
- You have a strong business partner mindset: you are pragmatic, solution‑oriented and commercially savvy.
- You are fluent in English and able to use it daily in negotiations.
