Sales Business Development Manager — Axway Join Axway as a Sales Business Development Manager in the Benelux market. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to promote our SBS Digital Banking Solutions and expand our footprint in the region. To support this ambition, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager Digital Banking for the Benelux market. In this role, you will engage with decision‑makers across financial institutions—both business and IT stakeholders—to identify key DMUs, build new relationships, promote our SBS Digital Banking Solutions, and maintain strong client connections by providing strategic guidance, support, and insights. Responsibilities Define and execute a strategic sales approach for SBS Digital Banking solutions in the Benelux market in collaboration with the Sales Director, covering existing clients and new prospects. Build and nurture a high‑level network within the financial industry, enabling C‑level engagement. Identify opportunities and key decision‑making units (DMUs) within banks and financial institutions. Expand your network through active participation in industry events, thought‑leadership initiatives, and proactive outreach. Initiate and develop sales cycles through a targeted and personalized approach. Lead the sales process internally and externally to ensure alignment between client needs and our solutions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners within the broader ecosystem. Contribute to team success by achieving your individual sales targets. Support marketing efforts by providing content for acquisition campaigns. Qualifications Passionate about sales, digital banking, and technology. Solid understanding of the financial industry with 5–10 years of sales experience in this sector. Proven track record in C‑level sales engagements. 3–5 years of experience selling core banking, payments, or digital solutions; experience with SaaS sales is a strong plus. Established network within the Benelux banking and FinTech market is a valuable asset. Experienced in negotiating complex software contracts, including SaaS deployments, implementation projects, maintenance & support, and training packages. Strong drive for sales with the patience and persistence required for long sales cycles. Affinity for digital innovation and emerging trends shaping the future of banking. Open to attending trade shows and industry conferences to expand network and market insights. Strong reporting and presentation skills. Team player who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment. Client‑focused, adaptable, and open to change. Results‑driven, quick learner, and highly motivated to open new business opportunities. High energy level and a proactive mindset make you a key contributor to business growth.
