Team & MissionAs part of the Material Development Team (chemistry, process engineering, industrialization), you will work closely with the Product Development, Process, and Proto & Test (technicians/operators) teams.Your mission is to transform validated formulations into robust processes (preparation, functionalization, coating/casting, drying, post-treatments) from laboratory scale to pilot scale‑up, and then secure the industrial transfer (internal/suppliers) at the right cost and with repeatable performance.Main ActivitiesExperimentation & DoE: Conduct design‑of‑experiments to understand the relationships between our manufacturing process, product formulation, and key product characteristics.Manufacturing process: Develop and improve processes used in the production of our materials (reactors, filtration, dispersion, and coating).Product/Process qualification:Define key Product/Process parameters (temperature, viscosity, speed, web tension, atmosphere, etc.) and associated tolerances.Develop and define control methods by specifying sampling points in the manufacturing process.Quality control & metrology: Implement SPC/MSA and control plans to validate our manufacturing process and qualify the product.Pilot runs & scale‑up: Prepare and execute pilot batches, qualify tools and equipment, write SOPs and work instructions, and assess process capability (Cp/Cpk) as well as repeatability & reproducibility.Industrial transfer: Contribute to the industrial transfer of our manufacturing process by participating in FAT/SAT validation with our suppliers.EHS & compliance: Integrate HSE requirements (solvent management, emissions, ventilation, ATEX if applicable), REACH/VOC compliance; write risk analyses (process FMEA) and safety instructions.Continuous improvement & cost‑down: Contribute to Product/Process optimization to reduce product variability, propose alternative materials/processes, and quantify potential CAPEX/OPEX savings.Documentation & change control: Contribute to writing manufacturing recipes, PFC/PCP, setup sheets, test reports, and support change management (ECR/ECO).Engineer/Master’s degree in process engineering, polymer chemistry, materials science, or equivalent.3–7 years of experience in films/membranes/coatings (R2R or batch): energy (electrodes/batteries, fuel cells), filtration, technical packaging, medical devices, etc.Hands‑on experience with unit operations: preparation/dispersion, functionalization reactors (batch/continuous), washing/neutralization, solid‑liquid separation (filtration/centrifugation), drying, coating/casting, and web handling.Quality tools: DoE, SPC, MSA, process capability Cp/Cpk; ability to read P&ID, basic utilities knowledge (HVAC, extraction, solvents), and process FMEA.Strong documentation skills, field‑oriented mindset, ability to prioritize and make decisions in uncertain contexts; cross‑functional collaboration with Materials/Product/Process/Validation teams.Professional English (international suppliers, documentation).Assets: experience with cellulose or biopolymers; knowledge of interface or inorganic chemistry for material compatibility and selection of washing/CIP chemistries. #J-18808-Ljbffr
