We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join a small and dynamic finance team in Paris.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing independently day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with French accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting for management decision‑making.This position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain accurate general ledger records in compliance with French GAAP and company policies.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including reconciliations.Oversee payroll entries, tax declarations, and social contributions.Support the preparation of annual audits and liaise with external auditors.Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure timely filing of VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial controls and process improvements.Issue employment contracts for newly hired staff and handle necessary declarations to the relevant authorities.Process payroll and related social contributions, collaborating with external providers when needed.REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or DSCG a plus).4/5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in France or within an international company.Proficiency in English written and spoken, fluent in French.Strong knowledge of French GAAP and tax regulations.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel (i.e. pivot tables and data formatting).Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Analytical thinking and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and proactively.Team‑oriented with a collaborative spirit.WHAT WE OFFERAn international and dynamic working environment.Opportunities for professional growth and cross‑border collaboration.Exposure to strategic projects and financial operations.Supportive and collaborative team culture.EOEFull time employment.
