**About the job**

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Finance Department, the General Accountant reports to the Credit Manager.

**As General Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties**:

- Verifying daily cash registers
- Reconciling cash / foreign currencies / checks / credit cards
- Counting petty cash
- Preparing bank deposits (via Brink’s)
- Accounts receivable: checking and sending invoices, following up with debtors, monitoring the customer balance
- Ensuring the control and follow-up of travel agency commissions
- Participating in the implementation of procedures related to accounts receivable/payable
- Recording payments and monitoring advance payments
- Receiving and processing supplier invoices via the digital invoicing tool
- Entering and checking expense reports

**As General Accountant we expect from you**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Fluency in both French and English is required
