The position is open to worldwide candidates and we will assist you with a generous relocation package to Bangkok. Qualifications Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field 7+ years of relevant experience in consumer‑facing business domains Comfortable with planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research Experience with qualitative and user‑centered design methods (individual/group interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think‑aloud usability testing, etc.) Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, statistical concepts, etc.) Experience evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to stakeholders using quantitative and qualitative data Critical thinking beyond business requests Great storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business people, designers, engineers, and stakeholders in English Enjoy collaborative work in a dynamic, data‑driven, and creative environment Responsibilities Demonstrate critical thinking beyond explicit business requests Function independently in all operational research tasks Lead core end‑to‑end research activities – driving objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication Judge research opportunities for importance, urgency, and impact Strong project execution while expanding breadth and depth of skills Apply both quantitative and qualitative research approaches, triangulating findings with others Use tools and inspection methods to quantify research value and efficiency Adapt well‑established methods and innovate new ones in collaboration with senior researchers Maintain knowledge of key software tools for surveys, diary studies, analysis Adhere to data compliance and ethics in all activities Drive cross‑discipline/department collaboration via research insights and activities Collaborate efficiently with other researchers and disciplines, with clear commitments when ownership is shared Communicate effectively, tailoring style to different audiences, concise and open to feedback Contribute to the research community by sharing work, coaching/mentoring researchers, and screening research candidates Equal Opportunity Employer At Agoda, we pride ourselves on being a company represented by people of all different backgrounds and orientations.
