About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Phosphea. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for further developing our business activity in the animal feed market in Mexico, USA, Belize, and Nicaragua.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze market information, including competition, potential clients, and regulatory monitoring.
- Prospect and develop the client portfolio in the animal feed sector, including integrators, feed millers, and premix makers.
- Build customer loyalty by establishing a privileged relationship with your customers through regular commercial tours.
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts to optimize results, including prices, margins, volumes, and market share.
- Ensure the follow-up of commercial contracts, monitor customer satisfaction, and needs.
- Ensure the correct processing of client orders, logistics, and payments.
- Manage the P&L for your area.
- Provide technical advice and personalized support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Business or Agriculture/Animal Nutrition.
- Experience in sales of commodities or agri/agro products, preferably in Animal Feed.
- Results and business-oriented.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Open, team-oriented, and dynamic personality eager to travel and take-up big challenges.
- Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
- Autonomy and cross-cultural mindset.
- Responsible, open, and transparent.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Frequent business travel is required (50% of the time).
