About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Phosphea. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for further developing our business activity in the animal feed market in Mexico, USA, Belize, and Nicaragua.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze market information, including competition, potential clients, and regulatory monitoring.
  • Prospect and develop the client portfolio in the animal feed sector, including integrators, feed millers, and premix makers.
  • Build customer loyalty by establishing a privileged relationship with your customers through regular commercial tours.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts to optimize results, including prices, margins, volumes, and market share.
  • Ensure the follow-up of commercial contracts, monitor customer satisfaction, and needs.
  • Ensure the correct processing of client orders, logistics, and payments.
  • Manage the P&L for your area.
  • Provide technical advice and personalized support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Business or Agriculture/Animal Nutrition.
  • Experience in sales of commodities or agri/agro products, preferably in Animal Feed.
  • Results and business-oriented.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Open, team-oriented, and dynamic personality eager to travel and take-up big challenges.
  • Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
  • Autonomy and cross-cultural mindset.
  • Responsible, open, and transparent.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Frequent business travel is required (50% of the time).
