Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a fractional Vice President of People Operations (VPPO) to spearhead our People team in crafting an environment and delivering an employee experience that attracts and retains exceptional talent, fostering a high-performing organization.

Our goal is to establish a remarkable workplace where People Experience serves as a pivotal differentiator and retention factor, contributing to a unique market value proposition.

Specifically, your role will encompass:

● Formulating and executing HR strategies and policies on a global scale, positioning the company for growth;

● Overseeing all aspects of our People & Culture operations: Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, People Operations, and Office Management;

● Leading a team of 2-3 individuals, with significant potential for expansion.

Responsibilities Breakdown

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

● Develop and execute an annual hiring strategy that aligns recruitment needs with the business roadmap (budget, management, objectives);

● Supervise the global recruitment policy;

● Track recruitment performance: provide monthly updates on ongoing projects and overall recruitment activities, monitoring key performance indicators;

● Collaborate with the Branding team to establish a clear Employer Value Proposition and cultivate robust Employer Branding both internally and externally.

Employee Experience (Learning and Development, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Culture)

● Design and implement a comprehensive training strategy integrated into each career trajectory;

● Establish a premier process for performance evaluations and feedback cycles (goal setting, mid-year reviews, personnel assessments, 360-degree feedback);

● Foster a strong corporate culture across all regions (France, UK, and others), in partnership with management (values, corporate rituals, behaviors, charters);

● Collaborate with finance teams to develop an attractive compensation and benefits framework while ensuring internal pay equity.

People Operations

● Oversee payroll matters to guarantee compliance with HR processes and data;

● Manage all legal aspects related to employment, including social organizations and regulations concerning the employment of individuals from diverse nationalities;

● Develop and implement appropriate metrics to enhance HR performance and optimize the use of people analytics for talent management and strategic recommendations;

● Ensure a positive social environment (gender equality, remote work policies, legal compliance).

Team Leadership & Budget Management

● Direct the HR team daily, ensuring each member has a performance-driven roadmap (e.g., clear objectives);

● Develop and oversee the HR budget.

We seek experienced people leaders with exceptional emotional intelligence and a passion for People. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

● A genuine passion for people, high self-awareness, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in recruitment, employee development, culture, and engagement;

● A minimum of 10 years of experience in a people-focused role, including leadership experience in building, hiring, managing, and scaling a high-performing global People team within a rapidly growing organization;

● Experience collaborating with and reporting to C-Suite and Senior Leadership;

● A history of proactively enhancing People processes for scaling organizations;

● A reputation as a culture leader, bringing humor to the workplace, along with high energy and motivation;

● The ability to influence stakeholders through compelling, data-driven insights and storytelling;

● A strategic mindset with the capability to navigate tactical execution and translate business challenges into People strategies;

● A data-driven approach with a background in decision-making based on business metrics, enabling swift definition, tracking, and analysis of KPIs for actionable insights;

● Experience in people teams within France and a strong understanding of French labor laws;

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
