R&D Contract and Risk Management Specialist

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, is seeking a highly skilled Contract and Risk Manager to join its Shared Services Unit at the Maizières campus, a key asset in Global R&D's organisation.
The successful candidate will report to the ArcelorMittal Maizières Research CFO and be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from receipt to signature, implementation, and archiving.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare contract drafts on the basis of internal templates and liaise with in-house legal functions for non-template questions.
- Manage the entire life cycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- Support teams in calls for tender, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Interface with the company's legal and compliance departments to mitigate risk exposure.
- Train and support teams on compliance processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the drafting of the annual report.
- Manage legal formalities related to AM Maizieres Research boards of directors and general meetings.
- A Master's degree or equivalent experience in contract law.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sector related to industry or R&D.
- Fluency in French and daily professional English practice.
- Deep expertise in managing the contract lifecycle, mitigating risks, and maintaining opportunities.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
