R&D Contract and Risk Management Specialist

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, is seeking a highly skilled Contract and Risk Manager to join its Shared Services Unit at the Maizières campus. As a key member of the Global R&D organization, you will play a critical role in managing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from receipt to signature, implementation, and archiving.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare contract drafts based on internal templates and liaise with in-house legal functions for non-template questions.
- Manage the entire life cycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- Support teams in calls for tender, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Interface with legal and compliance departments to mitigate company risk exposure.
- Train and support teams on compliance processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the drafting of the annual report.
- Manage legal formalities related to AM Maizieres Research boards of directors and general meetings.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in contract law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related sector, preferably in industry or R&D.
- Fluency in French and daily professional English practice.
- Deep expertise in contract lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and opportunity maintenance.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
