R&D Contract and Risk Management Specialist

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, is seeking a highly skilled Contract and Risk Manager to join its Shared Services Unit at the Maizières campus. As a key member of the Global R&D team, you will play a critical role in managing contracts and mitigating risks to support the company's innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare contract drafts and liaise with in-house legal functions to ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from receipt to signature, implementation, and archiving.
- Check the compliance of contracts and purchase orders with internal processes.
- Support teams in calls for tender, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Interface with legal and compliance departments to mitigate company risk exposure.
- Train and support teams on compliance processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the drafting of the annual report.
- Manage legal formalities related to boards of directors and general meetings.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in contract law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related sector, preferably in industry or R&D.
- Fluency in French and daily professional English practice.
- Deep expertise in contract lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and opportunity maintenance.
- Strong team spirit, effective communication, and organizational skills.
