Chief Flight Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Flight Instructor to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of flight instruction and training delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and standardize flight instructors to ensure quality and standards
- Develop and implement new training programs and courseware
- Manage dedicated projects within flight training, from creation to deployment
- Provide effective oversight and proactive management of MPL programs and Airbus Flight Academy Program
- Identify and advise on emerging issues and opportunities for training program enhancement
- Coordinate with local Airbus Flight Academy Postholders and staff to identify operational needs
- Monitor and maintain operational data to guide business decisions
- Monitor, review, and act upon applicable regulatory, customer, and external guidance
- Facilitate and assist in the implementation of Airbus instructor standardization policies
- Monitor the quality of training delivery and take action to correct discrepancies or deficiencies
- Coordinate with Standards, Compliance, and Regulatory departments to maintain local alignment with the Airbus Network
- Provide guidance and assistance in the development and implementation of new training programs
- Maintain Airbus Flight Instructors qualifications
- Maintain an activity in client training
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Training
Requirements:
- Minimum EASA CFI pre-requisites apply
- Extensive experience in flight instruction and flight examiner (FE/CRE) appreciated
- Working knowledge of applicable national aviation authority organisation(s) and regulations
- Developed relationships with local authorities
- Proven experience in Project Management
- Interpersonal skills and ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Verbal and written communication abilities in English and one other language
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to focus and work in a complex environment
- Ability to make decisions and solve complex problems unsupervised within scope of responsibility
