Lead Flight Training Manager

We are seeking a Chief Flight Instructor (Ab Initio) & Project Manager (m/f) for our Commercial Aircraft division within the Airbus Training Services Department.
Your Role:
As a pivotal member of the Ab-Initio program, you will oversee flight training operations and ensure adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the standardization and supervision of flight instructors.
- Ensure compliance with training quality and standards.
- Guide recruitment and validation processes for instructors.
- Develop tailored MPL courses for clients.
- Manage and update ab initio training programs and materials.
- Provide oversight for MPL programs and Airbus Flight Academy initiatives.
- Identify training enhancement opportunities and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Monitor and maintain operational data to inform decision-making.
- Facilitate the implementation of instructor standardization policies.
- Maintain instructor qualifications and engage in client training.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications:
- Must meet EASA CFI prerequisites.
- Extensive experience in flight instruction and examination.
- Familiarity with national aviation regulations and authority relationships.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and an additional language.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Able to navigate complex environments and adapt to change.
- Capable of independent decision-making and problem-solving.
