Associate Director of Advancement Services Lead

The Associate Director of Advancement Services is a key member of the KCTCS Advancement team, responsible for planning, directing, and managing initiatives that support fundraising for the KCTCS System Office and local colleges. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on managing relationships with colleges and local Advancement Officers to identify needs and develop strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with Advancement staff at KCTCS colleges, organizing peer team meetings and maintaining department SharePoint pages to facilitate exchange of best practices.
- Create templates, FAQ guides, and other tools to address college needs, while also coordinating peer team agendas and providing professional development opportunities.
- Oversee scholarship administration, cross-trained to perform gift entry support as needed, and responsible for implementing and maintaining platforms to develop alumni engagement and manage online giving.
- Lead the annual "KCTCS Giving Day" fundraising campaign, while also overseeing administration of scholarships funded by the KCTCS Foundation.
- Work across multiple departments to develop templates and processes, facilitating exchange of best practices using SharePoint sites, and updating procedures to support daily operations of the Advancement Office.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Fundraising, or related field, with five years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Fundraising, or related field, with seven years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- CFRE certification preferred but not required, with experience in fundraising, team leadership, and donor engagement.
