Job Summary

The Director of Safety & Emergency Services provides operational leadership, direction, and training to the staff of the Operations and Emergency Services Office and KCTCS college employees involved in the office's functional areas. This includes overseeing all KCTCS Environmental Health and Safety, Crisis Management, Title IX Compliance, and System Office security, safety, and environmental management services.

This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY. This position may offer a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support and directions in developing crisis and emergency management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides support, assistance, and direction in developing environmental health and safety plans, training, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides support, assistance, and direction in Title IX compliance, training, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides reporting and information to Assistant Vice President of Facilities Support Services related to security, safety, and environmental management services.
  • Manages contracts providing services related to security, safety, and environmental management services.
  • Provides support to Capital Projects as required related to security, safety, and environmental management services.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field and four years of relevant experience. Deep knowledge, experience, and skills in one or more of the following disciplines – Environmental Health, Crisis/Emergency Planning, Clery/Title IX, Building operations.
