About the Role

The Pierre Fabre Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled R&D Project Director to join its Project Management Office in the Direction Médicale & Relations Patients Consommateurs department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the global project strategy, providing a framework for best practices in project management.
  • Evaluate, implement, coordinate, and monitor project development plans (internal or external projects).
  • Ensure the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of initiatives within the Project Portfolio Management department to ensure operational excellence in project execution in terms of cost, quality, and deadlines.
  • Evaluate the scientific, regulatory, legal, technical, economic, and industrial feasibility of projects in relation to the defined development strategy.
  • Lead, coordinate, and ensure the optimal functioning of Project Teams and implement development plans in accordance with the defined development strategy.
  • Ensure the optimal advancement (deliverables/resources/external costs) of projects in collaboration with project planning and involved departments.
  • Develop and propose contingency risk plans and problem-solving plans encountered during development.
  • Develop and implement best practices in project management to ensure operational excellence in project execution in terms of quality, deadlines, and costs.
  • Regularly communicate project progress to the Management, in a logic of transparency and decision-making support.
  • Ensure collaboration with partners for co-development projects.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a scientific field (PhD).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management in the development of pharmaceutical products.
  • Knowledge and experience in the development of healthcare products in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with teams.
  • Experience in presenting to Senior Management.
