Expertise Center Quantitative Research and ModelingThe Expertise Center (EC) Quantitative Research and Modeling (QRM) is a team of 30 quantitative analysts dedicated to providing advanced quantitative expertise to all Business Platforms of GEMS. We are seeking a talented Quantitative Analyst to join our team.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be focused on the activities of the Gas Supply & Trading (GST) Business Platform, delivering quantitative tools that have a concrete impact on the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing prototypes used for position analysis, deal pricing, market monitoring, and other business needs
- Improving stochastic models and implementing them in the official library
- Interacting with trading teams to provide efficient technical solutions
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong mathematical skills and expertise in Quantitative Finance
- Good understanding of the trading and portfolio management business
- Good object-oriented programming skills (C#, Python) to develop prototypes and models
