Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team in the Gas Supply & Trading Business Platform. As a Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering advanced quantitative tools and models to support our trading desks in managing complex assets in the financial markets.

Your primary focus will be on developing prototypes and models that have a direct impact on our business. You will work closely with traders to understand their needs and provide them with quantitative support in their day-to-day activities. You will also collaborate with other quants to leverage knowledge and expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing prototypes and models used by the trading desk
  • Improving stochastic models and implementing them in our official library
  • Interacting with traders to provide quantitative support and define model needs
  • Collaborating with other quants and teams within GEMS

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical skills and expertise in Quantitative Finance
  • Good understanding of the trading and portfolio management business
  • Good object-oriented programming skills in C# and Python
