As the Climate and Environmental Manager at FM Logistic, you will play a crucial role in steering the organization's environmental policies across all operational territories. Your primary focus will be on climate action, promoting a circular economy, and spearheading regeneration projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to CSRD regulations. Reporting directly to the Director of Sustainable Development, your contributions will be vital in advancing FM Logistic's commitment to a sustainable supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieving Carbon Neutrality for Scope 1 and 2:

  • Establishing objectives and a strategic roadmap aligned with SBTI standards.
  • Collaborating with the Sustainable Construction team to integrate energy and environmental factors into warehouse designs.
  • Overseeing the rollout of Energy Efficiency initiatives across various regions, providing support to Maintenance, QHSE, and Operations teams.
  • Assisting Procurement teams in energy tenders to meet the goal of 100% green electricity.

Reducing Scope 3 Emissions by 30%:

  • Partnering with leaders in sustainable transport to identify and evaluate solutions for decarbonizing transportation activities.
  • Developing and managing waste reduction initiatives, aiding Maintenance, QHSE, and Operations teams.
  • Implementing solutions that promote a circular economy.

Ensuring CSRD Compliance and Reporting:

  • Leading the sustainable roadmap to prepare FM Logistic's inaugural CSRD report.
  • Supervising the ESG Data Analyst to guarantee secure ESG reporting and the creation of comprehensive ESG dashboards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience in the logistics or consulting sectors is preferred.
  • A degree in business or engineering.
  • Strong project management capabilities; proficiency in Google Suite or equivalent Microsoft tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • This position allows for two days of telecommuting each week.
