Job Title: Offshore Heavy-Lift Installation Engineer

d2m Services is seeking an experienced Offshore Heavy-Lift Installation Engineer for a major Oil and Gas project in Congo.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of assets for operation, including vessels modifications and tests. They will establish equipment specifications, define personnel and resource plans, and coordinate with procurement, method, and logistic teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish equipment specifications to perform works based on method department requirements and scope of activities
  • Define number and position of personnel/crew/operators in charge of operations
  • Establish resource plan for preparatory works/mobilization/operation and demobilization
  • Liaise with procurement team, method engineer, and logistic team
  • Coordinate daily activity of supply vessels during operation phase in liaison with onshore logistic manager
Requirements:
  • Graduate engineering school, immediately operational
  • Between 3 and 5 years experience in a similar position
  • General technical knowledge of offshore/marine/subsea work
  • Understanding of equipment used for offshore work
  • Knowledge of offshore work procedures
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and Autocad
Benefits:

Duration: 11 months

Starting date: July 2024 (First stage of 5 months in France, 5 days/week, followed by 6 months in Congo (Offshore) on 4x4 rotation scheme)
