We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Uniform Supervisor to join our team at Accor. As a Uniform Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our uniform logistics, ensuring that our staff is equipped with high-quality uniforms that meet our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of uniforms, ensuring that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.
- Uniform Production: Coordinate the daily operation against the requirements of our hotel outlets and staff uniforms.
- Quality Control: Check and maintain the standard quality of all processed articles.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of new uniforms and tags according to departmental codes.
- Reporting: Maintain uniform production reports.
- Uniform Exchange System: Ensure that the uniforms exchange system is followed, with clean uniforms exchanged for dirty ones.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with the supplying company regarding uniforms.
- Alterations and Repairs: Coordinate with the tailor regarding alterations, sewing, and repairs.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the uniform department.
- Staff Support: Ensure that staff uniform requirements are met.
- Communication: Attend departmental communication meetings.
- Training: Carry out on-the-job training for staff.
- Language Skills: Must be able to understand and communicate oral/written instructions in English.
- Leadership Skills: Must possess the ability to plan, organize, supervise, inspect, and evaluate work of subordinates.
- Collaboration: Must possess the ability to maintain a productive working relationship with other department supervisors and coordinate laundry services.
- Problem-Solving: Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use the computer and office programs.
