Counter Sales Associate

Johnstone Supply, The Balsan Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, answering product-related questions, and processing sales transactions accurately.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction.
  • Assist customers in locating products, answering questions about HVAC products, prices, availability, and usage.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, generating new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly.
  • Upsell additional products or services to customers, following up on sales leads and inquiries to generate additional business.
  • Assist customers with technical questions or issues related to HVAC products, referring complex technical inquiries to TSA as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory movements, assisting with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and phone/email correspondence.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to management, assisting in stocking shelves and organizing inventory.

Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and different software programs.
  • Ability to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift, and carry items up to 75 pounds.
