Job Overview

Our Purpose

Coface is on the lookout for a Lead Marketing Data Strategist to enhance our Business Information Services. This pivotal position will report to the Group Marketing Director: Business Information at Coface. In this capacity, you will manage various elements of marketing performance operations and reporting, which includes generating systematic reports and actionable analytics focused on pricing, product performance, inbound demand generation, outbound lead generation analysis, go-to-market strategies, and communication impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a vital member of the BI Marketing team, advocating for an insight-driven methodology to guide marketing decisions and assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives across go-to-market strategies, lead generation, product offerings, and pricing structures.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Squad Leadership (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success) to devise and implement an insight-driven approach to corridor planning, go-to-market strategies, and lead generation marketing efforts.
  • Spearhead the development of best practices in measuring and evaluating marketing initiatives, working closely with group colleagues to demonstrate the impact of BI marketing efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Planning and Goal Setting: tasked with uncovering insights, creating reports, and supporting an insight-driven approach to decision-making for the planning and execution of marketing strategies across go-to-market, lead generation, product, and pricing.
  • Reporting and Process Optimization: responsible for establishing and refining best practice processes for all facets of marketing reporting to track the revenue impact of marketing activities and identify opportunities for continuous enhancement.
  • Delivering Valuable Insights: identify insights that can stimulate revenue growth and operational improvements.
  • Pricing Insights: collect and analyze competitive pricing data from various regions, drive the development and application of advanced pricing analytics to inform strategic decisions, and evaluate the effects of annual price adjustments on market performance and revenue growth through reports and dashboards.
  • Pricing Initiatives: collaborate with the BI Pricing Director to optimize the quote-to-cash sales process by implementing a CPQ and CLM proof of concept, followed by a comprehensive rollout to improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Regular Updates: provide ongoing updates to Senior Marketing and Commercial Leadership, as well as other key stakeholders, regarding progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough, detailed analyses and effectively communicate results to facilitate confident decision-making.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • At least five years of experience in data modeling and visualization, ideally within a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and explanatory modeling to uncover trends.
  • Experience in designing and delivering Revenue Performance Insights, Sales coverage modeling, Sales productivity, revenue reporting, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
  • Background in a high-growth technology company is advantageous.
  • A self-driven, action-oriented individual with strong multitasking abilities and a sense of urgency.
  • Must possess keen observational skills and the ability to perform under pressure, as the role requires managing the entire revenue cycle comprehensively.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail to ensure effective program management execution.
  • Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI for data visualization and insights, along with programming capabilities in Python, R, and SQL for data analysis and automation.
