Principal QA Engineer

About the Role

Amadeus is seeking a highly skilled Principal QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Excellence

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Design and implement automated testing solutions
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications

Functional Excellence

  • Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to track testing progress
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality testing results

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing principles
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
