Trelleborg Sealing Solutions - Aerospace is a world leader in engineered polymer solutions for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Key Account Manager/Sales Engineer Aerospace Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and monitor customer plans and division objectives, achieving sales and gross margin ambitions
- Build relationships, make customer visits to discuss common goals, achieving customer satisfaction
- Promote the strengths and capabilities of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in targeted growth markets
- Develop new requests for quotations and monitor performances versus the target area and the market segment
- Work closely with our internal customer service teams to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Negotiate pricing agreements, build and manage customer price lists in line with the business strategy
- Be responsible for payment of customer's invoices and actively participate in cash collection
- Share and update customer files in the dedicated storage areas
- Manage the customer account creation, as well as analyse sales performance, and prepare sales budgets
- Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or industry-relevant experience
- Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success
- Proven track record of developing new business and closing deals; meeting and exceeding targets
- Ability to work independently in a home office with frequent travel to customers and prospects in the region
- Highly self-motivated, strong account management and relationship-building skills; SAP system skills is a plus too
- Able to travel up to 50%, within and outside the assigned region, efficient time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in French & English (in written and spoken), a third European language is a plus
