Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Talent Development Director to drive our global People team's success. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our talent management strategy, ensuring our workforce possesses best-in-class competencies to drive Believe's mission.

Responsibilities:
  • Talent Management Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent management initiatives with the company's strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Talent Development Programs: Identify critical roles and key talent needs across the organization and develop targeted talent development programs to address these needs.
  • Succession Planning: Build and deploy a succession planning strategy for the Believe Group that secures smooth operations and builds the future leaders of the organization.
  • Performance Metrics: Measure the ROI of actions taken and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the talent management strategy and track progress.
Learning and Development:
  • Program Design: Design and implement engaging and impactful learning and development programs that cater to the diverse needs of employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Training Partnerships: Identify and partner with appropriate training and development providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences.
  • Program Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs and make continuous improvements.
  • Adult Learning Methods: Provide expert knowledge of adult learning methods and instructional design principles.
Culture and Partnerships:
  • Culture of Learning: Champion a culture of continuous learning within the organization, encouraging employees to embrace personal and professional development opportunities.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate learning and development opportunities to employees and motivate them to participate.
  • Recognition and Rewards: Recognize and reward employees who demonstrate a commitment to learning and development.
Business Partnerships:
  • Business Alignment: Establish strong partnerships with business leaders and teams to understand their talent needs and development priorities.
  • Integration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate talent management initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
  • Value Communication: Effectively market and communicate the value of talent management and learning & development to leadership and the broader organization.
Team Management:
  • Team Development: Develop, and manage a team of talented and experienced professionals in talent management and learning and development.
  • Task Delegation: Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
  • Collaborative Environment: Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for the team.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in L&D & Talent development roles designing and delivering high-impact experiences.
  • Deep knowledge and experience around talent management, talent calibration, succession plans, talent programs, learning methods, development practices, and evaluation methods.
  • Coaching certification and experience practicing coaching in an organization.
  • 4+ years leading and developing a team.
  • Data-driven, and enjoy solving problems.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
