General Objective

Oversee the definition of sales business processes and regulations across JCDecaux's various business units, aiming to establish a unified operational model. Direct IT sales solution assessments within JCDecaux's business units, ensuring delivery, governance, and alignment with overarching group goals. Specifically, spearhead studies and roadmap development for the deployment of the "Viooh" platform, which serves as the primary programmatic and direct sales solution facilitating media planning and inventory management. Cultivate and sustain a trust-based relationship with regional teams and establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders (both Business and IT) to guarantee high-quality service delivery.

Scope:

This role reports to the Head of Sales Business Process & Solutions within the IT Sales & Posting Division.

Key Responsibilities

Lead IT sales initiatives and maintain a roadmap in collaboration with business units. Work closely with regional teams to:

  • Acquire a comprehensive and current understanding of sales operations, methodologies, and future directions across JCDecaux subsidiaries.
  • Identify and foresee anticipated IT service requirements.
  • Initiate and ensure the execution of necessary actions. Coordinate various initiatives (Support, Assistance, Studies, Projects, Communication...) with a core mindset of challenging the needs of JCDecaux business units to uncover synergies.
  • Keep subsidiaries informed about IT updates (ongoing deployments, new feature releases, planned go-lives...).
  • Share insights with other IT stakeholders (Regional IT management, Product management, Support teams, experts) to ensure alignment.
  • Assist in the budget preparation process by identifying, organizing, and cataloging all Sales IT initiatives on a regular basis.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of local industry activities.

When a project is identified:

  • Gather and evaluate the local context (stakeholders, business cases, priorities, local strategies, available expertise, market conditions, etc.).
  • Obtain relevant information and insights from corporate resources (similar initiatives, existing solutions, demonstrations, etc.).
  • Conduct studies and analyses, design, and propose strategies and roadmaps for sales systems.
  • Define and confirm the project scope with JCDecaux business units and IT.
  • Manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Secure commitment from all stakeholders, including regional, group, business, and IT.
  • Actively participate in decision-making committees.
  • Continuously synchronize with IT Product Owners regarding the features to be implemented.
  • Monitor the development of IT solutions through regular alignment with IT solutions managers and Product Owners.
  • Provide regular updates to IT management, highlighting issues and risks, and proposing actions and mitigation strategies.
