Retail Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Specialist to join our Travel Retail EMEA team at Coty. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving retail sales growth and market share in assigned stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales methods and provide coaching to improve techniques.
  • Manage agency relationships, recruit seasonal staff, and promote products according to budget and promotion plans.
  • Coordinate working schedules for each airport, considering peak times, flights, promotions, vacations, absences, and shop regulations.
  • Coach Beauty Advisors on perfect store principles and sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with the regional training manager to set up training sessions.
  • Train Promoters and Retailer's staff on novelties and animations.
  • Ensure the highest quality representation of our brands on the shop floor, adhering to head office guidelines.
  • Review distribution, assortment, and merchandising in line with head office guidelines and customer agreements.
  • Coordinate the implementation of promotions, share pictures, and provide feedback to the head office team.
  • Arrange and follow up on decoration and furniture maintenance with contractors or retailers.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Identify and report new or existing opportunities, as well as refurbishments and new openings to the head office team.
  • Main contact for agencies for recruiting and training promoters, ensuring agencies follow KPIs set by the head office team.
  • Provide pricing and competing brands reporting to help the head office team understand market dynamics.
  • Report findings on promotion sales performance and innovation feedback, including pictures and sales results, to the Area Manager.
