Job Title: Solutions Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team at Dynatrace. As a key member of our sales engine, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our sales team, prospects, and customers. You will be the expert on our Dynatrace platform and all things Observability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute demos that showcase our unique approach to solving customer pain points
  • Manage and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) remotely and onsite
  • Build key relationships with our customers and complete Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Collaborate with our innovation labs, ACE Services consultants, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and marketing teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a technical customer-facing role
  • Passion for innovative technology, technical sales, and articulating value to customers and prospects
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work across all disciplines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical value into business value
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Java,.NET, PHP, or JavaScript languages and knowledge of web technologies and SQL
  • Experience with typical operating systems, including Windows and Linux
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage the process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work with multiple sales people and support other SEs as needed
  • Strong desire to grow professionally, adapt to an ever-changing environment, and be coachable
  • Fluency in English and French

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with technologies and techniques around Observability
  • Experience with Cloud environments like Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Openshift
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including JQuery, Dojo, and AngularJS
  • Experience with Java technology, including Servlets, Struts, Spring, Web Services, EJB, and JMS
  • Experience with Cloud and Big Data technologies
