Job Title: Solutions Engineer

At Dynatrace, we're seeking a highly skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales engine, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our sales team, prospects, and customers.

About the Role:

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be the expert on our Dynatrace platform and all things Observability. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Executing demos that showcase our unique approach to solving customer pain points
  • Managing and executing Proof of Concepts (POCs) remotely and onsite
  • Building key relationships with our customers and completing Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Collaborating with our innovation labs, ACE Services consultants, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and marketing teams
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an ambitious, confident, and self-motivated individual with previous experience in a similar technical customer-facing role. You should be passionate about innovative technology, technical sales, and articulating value to customers and prospects.

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting sales teams in a presale role, with a track record of leading to sales success
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work across all disciplines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical value into business value
  • Previous experience working with Java,.NET, PHP, or JavaScript languages, as well as knowledge of web technologies and SQL
  • Experience with typical operating systems, including Windows and Linux
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage the process to produce a working outcome
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work with various sales people, and support other Solutions Engineers as needed
  • Strong desire to grow professionally, adapt to an ever-changing environment, and be coachable
  • Fluency in English and French
Desired Experience & Skills:

We're looking for candidates with experience in technologies and techniques around Observability, as well as experience with Cloud environments like Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Openshift. Additionally, experience with JavaScript frameworks, Java technology, and Cloud and Big Data technologies is highly desirable.
