We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Management Director to lead our Business Management function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing business relationships with existing commercial clients to maximize client service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the leader in site business activities, representing the client interests, while maximizing site's financial position.
- Business Development: Work closely with Business Development team to ensure consistent flow of new business to sites and seamless transfer of responsibility to site BM teams.
- Team Management: Manage the BM team to ensure that expected service levels are being provided and that required planning and technical information is being exchanged appropriately with regard to client's requirements.
- Commercial Operations: Ensure all commercial client forecasts are updated consistently in the Demand process, including market intelligence.
- Financial Management: Know Thermo Fisher financial obligations and work with Finance to assure compliance.
- Leadership: Provide input in the STRAP (Strategic Action Plan) and ongoing forecasts.
- Communication: Ensure all issues are handled promptly and that all communications are timely and accurate.
- Education: University Degree in Science, Finance and/or Business required.
- Experience: 5 years of related experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Leadership Skills: 5 years of experience managing direct reports.
- Skills: Working knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing and outsourcing, superior client service orientation, interpersonal skills and business acumen.
