Job Title: Senior Director of Data Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Data Engineering to join our team at Publicis Sapient. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our data architecture, ensuring that our data solutions are scalable, secure, and meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of our data architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data solutions remain competitive.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud-based data solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale data engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue.
  • Knowledge of data security best practices, including data encryption and access control.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
