Job Title: Senior Director of Data Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Data Engineering to lead our data engineering team and drive the development of our data platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data architecture strategies to support business growth and innovation.
  • Lead a team of data engineers to design, build, and deploy data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering capabilities into business processes.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex data engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality principles.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow or AWS Glue.
  • Knowledge of data security and governance frameworks, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions, such as Amazon S3 or Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
