About the Role

As a key member of the Hutchinson team, you will be responsible for managing global commodity teams and directing worldwide initiatives. Your primary focus will be on:

  • Pilotage mondial des familles d'Achats liées à votre périmètre,
  • Management fonctionnel des Acheteurs Régionaux des familles concernées,
  • Responsable de la gestion du panel de fournisseurs au niveau mondial,
  • Expertise et suivi des tendances du marché des matières premières,
  • Leadership du marketing achat pour la famille de produits,
  • Connaissance et analyse du marché fournisseurs.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Animer l'équipe « Achats Famille » (Acheteurs Familles, Ingénieurs Produits, autres parties prenantes) en analysant les familles achats, en définissant les objectifs, l'approche tactique et le plan d'action,
  • Piloter Les Acheteurs Famille dans le processus de sélection des meilleurs fournisseurs pour un produit donné sur la base Coût, Qualité, Délai et Innovation et durabilité,
  • Participer au développement de nouveaux produits en impliquant les fournisseurs appropriés.

Management of the Supplier Panel

You will be responsible for:

  • Mise à jour du statut des fournisseurs en temps réel,
  • Plans d'action des fournisseurs,
  • Cartes de pointage QCDI Propriété du processus,
  • Suivi de leur performance financière (plan d'action de productivité, compétitivité),
  • Contrôle de leur performance industrielle (qualité, livraisons, durabilité, innovation).

Global Market Knowledge and Analysis

You will be responsible for:

  • Recherche de nouveaux fournisseurs mondiaux potentiels,
  • Recherche de nouveaux produits, matériaux, innovations susceptibles de créer un avantage concurrentiel pour Hutchinson,
  • Implication des Ingénieurs produits dans la validation des nouveaux fournisseurs et des nouveaux matériaux,
  • Pilotage des initiatives VAVE,
  • Suivi et prévision des tendances du marché des matières premières. Anticipation des stratégies d'achat en conséquence,
  • Expertise des prix de marché.

Cost Modelling

You will be responsible for:

  • Analyse des structures de coûts des produits et des matières premières afin de construire des modèles de coûts.

Optimization of Volumes and Synergies

You will be responsible for:

  • Collaboration avec les Responsables Achats du Groupe et les autres Acheteurs des Activités afin d'optimiser les effets volumes et les opportunités de synergies,
  • Challenge et déploiement des stratégies d'achat du groupe sur les matières premières et déploiement des prix et autres conditions contractuels par les régions,
  • Pilotage des réunions opérationnelles hebdomadaires et les revues des résultats mensuels avec les Acheteurs Familles régionaux afin de contrôler l'activité mondiale et ses performances,
  • Pilotage des initiatives en matière de développement durable pour faire progresser le panel vers l'objectif « zéro émission ».

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in international commodity purchasing in the automotive or aerospace industry. A degree in engineering, preferably in chemistry, would be an asset. You should have excellent negotiation skills, knowledge of market tools and solutions, and a deep understanding of the company's operations and constraints.

You should be able to optimize purchasing performance through your knowledge of project management methodologies and IT systems. Fluency in English is essential for this role, and occasional travel may be required.
