Job OverviewThe Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for executing the responsibilities of a Guest Services Agent while overseeing front desk personnel to guarantee efficient operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests and visitors in the front lobby, document their details, and assign accommodations based on their preferences. Deliver professional, courteous, and prompt guest service that exceeds expectations. Mentor new team members and provide continuous performance feedback. Foster a positive and motivating team atmosphere, ensuring all front office staff adhere to hotel standards. Quickly address guest issues in their accommodations by collaborating with Housekeeping and service teams. Act as the primary contact for guest concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and urgency. Work closely with management to maintain seamless Front Office operations, troubleshoot problems as they arise, and report technical difficulties promptly. Arrange special requests, VIP accommodations, and communicate VIP lists to relevant departments. Perform the functions of a Guest Services Agent and undertake additional tasks as assigned by management. QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in hotel front desk operations At least 1 year of supervisory experience Flexibility to work various shifts Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Familiarity with Opera is advantageous Strong problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail, even in high-pressure situations Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a commitment to team development Additional Benefits
