Job Overview

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for executing the duties of a Guest Services Agent while overseeing front desk personnel to guarantee efficient and seamless operations, leading to outstanding guest feedback and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests and visitors in the front lobby, gather their information, and assign accommodations based on their preferences. Deliver professional, courteous, timely, and precise guest service that exceeds expectations. Mentor new staff members and provide continuous performance feedback. Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating team atmosphere. Guide, coach, and ensure that each front office team member adheres to hotel standards. Quickly coordinate solutions when guests encounter issues in their rooms by collaborating with Housekeeping and/or service staff. Act as the escalation point for guest concerns when necessary, addressing issues with professionalism and urgency. Collaborate with management to ensure smooth Front Office operations, troubleshoot problems as they arise, and report technical issues promptly. Arrange special requests, VIP accommodations, and distribute VIP lists to relevant departments. Perform the duties of a Guest Services Agent and undertake additional tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hotel front desk role At least 1 year of supervisory experience Flexible availability for scheduling Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Familiarity with Opera is advantageous Strong problem-solving abilities Exceptional attention to detail, even under pressure Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Proven leadership qualities and a passion for coaching and developing team members Additional Benefits
