Mobile Gaming Insights Specialist

At Ubisoft, we are dedicated to creating engaging mobile gaming experiences that resonate with players around the globe. Our commitment to innovation and quality has led us to seek a talented individual to join our editorial team as a Mobile Gaming Insights Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will significantly impact our product development strategy by conducting thorough analyses of the hyper-casual and hybrid-casual gaming markets.
Your primary duties will include:
- Engaging with and evaluating a variety of leading competitor games to generate comprehensive reports that highlight their core mechanics, particularly focusing on user engagement and economic design elements.
- Observing, playing, and critiquing newly soft-launched games from competitors to uncover emerging gameplay trends, ensuring our production teams remain at the forefront of industry innovation.
- Gaining a holistic understanding of the market landscape by analyzing key data metrics (such as downloads and in-app purchase revenues) and synthesizing insights from diverse sources (including blogs, conferences, and articles).
- Developing impactful materials (presentations, videos, articles) to disseminate your findings to Game Designers and Development teams, enhancing their market awareness and elevating the quality of our offerings.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Business, Communication, Game Design, or a related field, with a strong desire to apply your knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- A curious, innovative, and detail-oriented mindset, with a solid understanding of the mobile gaming industry and a passion for continuous learning.
- Willingness to invest significant time in playing and analyzing a wide range of mobile games.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a well-honed critical perspective on design and user experience.
- Proficiency in English, allowing for effective communication with international colleagues.
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, for creating visually appealing and effective presentations.
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Premiere Pro is advantageous.
