Role Description Pharmaceutical Systems

The Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) team specializes in innovative solutions such as pre-fillable syringes and self-injection systems, designed to ensure the safe delivery of drug therapies.

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the VP/GM, the Business Director will lead the management of the Biologics segment, recognized as the fastest-growing area within BD Pharmaceutical Systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing the annual strategic planning process to articulate and disseminate the global business vision.
  • Crafting annual and multi-year product roadmaps in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Guiding cross-functional teams to meet key performance indicators and business goals, including quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the global Sales & Operations team to align capacity planning and address potential challenges.
  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure alignment with operational strategies.
  • Partnering with regional marketing teams on product launches, sales tools, and market innovations.
  • Driving growth through innovative business strategies.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a Servant Leader with a proven track record in managing complex projects and influencing business outcomes.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in medical technology, life sciences, or biotechnology.
  • A strong history of sales leadership and business acumen.
