About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Clarios. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in the continued success of our company in the automotive aftermarket.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement account plans with customers to create value and business results.
- Provide monthly forecasts, generate an understanding of risks and opportunities, track results, and develop corrective actions if needed.
- Develop and implement Marketing activities in close alignment with the Marketing team.
- Ensure alignment and coordinate all customer-specific activities with internal teams across all countries or regions where the customer is active.
- Formulate and execute strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Generate a full understanding of the markets the customers are in and its relevant players.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with all management levels inside the customers.
- Proactively identify and solve challenges to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and marketing, to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales management or a similar role, ideally within the Automotive Aftermarket African continent is mandatory.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of functional reports (if applicable), fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex challenges. Basic SAP knowledge.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to achieving sales objectives.
- Proactive and results-oriented.
- Valuing collaboration and teamwork.
- Customer- and relationship-focused.
- Embracing innovation and being open to adopting new technologies.
- Willingness to travel within EMEA (mainly France and Africa) up to 35% of the time.
