Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Sales Manager for Resin Markets in Europe to join our team at Arkema. As a key account manager, you will be responsible for the sales of our range of polyols and specialty surfactants on the resin markets in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Middle East and Africa region. You will work closely with customers, back office, supply chain, sales director, business developers, product managers, legal, and the credit department to achieve sales targets and business development goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business development goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key account management and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the sales director, business developers, and product managers to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and back office teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide regular reports to the sales director
Requirements
  • Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent with a specialization in sales or negotiation
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar or technical sales position, preferably with a market player
  • Strong sales background and good understanding of marketing
  • Technical knowledge of the targeted markets and applications and/or knowledge of specialty surfactants/polyols
  • Rigorous, able to negotiate in an international environment, and able to listen to customers
  • Fluent in French, Italian, and English
