Your role at Sephora: As a Retail Operations Leader, you will oversee all aspects of store management, ensuring exceptional client service and driving sales performance. You will guide a team of committed associates, nurturing a positive workplace culture that promotes growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing Store Operations and Sales:
    • Manage daily store functions, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience.
    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance store sales and boost profitability.
    • Supervise and manage sales performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.
  2. Leadership and Team Development:
    • Inspire, coach, and motivate a team of associates to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, oversee employee development, and provide continuous feedback.
    • Manage the leadership team, ensuring effective collaboration and attainment of store objectives.
  3. Client Satisfaction and Service Excellence:
    • Guarantee high levels of client satisfaction through outstanding service.
    • Address client concerns and provide suitable resolutions.
    • Work to foster client loyalty and engagement by supporting loyalty initiatives and services.
  4. Store Standards and Compliance:
    • Maintain exceptional store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to uphold a safe and efficient work environment.
    • Uphold Sephora brand excellence in-store, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client experience.
  5. Resource Management:
    • Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability.
    • Allocate resources and manage staffing to ensure optimal productivity and performance.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven successful experience in retail management.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a high-volume, complex retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and business insight.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A talent for attracting, identifying, and motivating employees.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate a retail schedule.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk the sales floor for the entire shift, and work in a fragrance-filled environment while handling and applying products to clients—with or without accommodation.
  • Compliance with Sephora's dress code and policies as outlined in the Sephora Employee Handbook.

The annual base salary range for this position is $77,000 to $98,000. The actual base salary offered depends on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, specific skills, education level, certifications, and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position, as well as the geographic location in which the applicant resides and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals in this position may also be eligible for bonuses.
