Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at SPIE Global Services Energy Ghana Limited.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with QHSSE rules and procedures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot small electrical installations, including lighting and heat tracing circuits.
  • Identify and connect cables, perform their proper laying, and select appropriate cable glands and tags.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on non-critical equipment, including batteries, motors, alternators, breakers, transformers, contactors, and switchboards.
  • Test and verify alarms, trip, and interlock settings.
  • Perform insulation and continuity tests on LV electrical equipment, including dismantling, replacing defective parts, reassembling, reconnecting, and checking the system.
Requirements:
  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC or equivalent).
  • 3 to 6 years' experience in maintenance on oil and gas production installations.
  • Basic knowledge of oil and gas treatment processes and thorough knowledge of equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
  • Electrical specific knowledge of HV & LV power distribution and control networks, HV & LV motor drives, and Alternators, Inverters, high voltage cells, variable speed units, Lighting networks, and switchgear.
