Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at SPIE Global Services Energy Ghana Limited.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical installations, including lighting and heat tracing circuits.
  • Identify and connect different types of cables, including ground ones, and perform their proper laying.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on non-critical equipment, such as batteries, motors, alternators, breakers, transformers, contactors, and switchboards.
  • Test and verify alarms, trip, and interlock settings.
  • Perform insulation and continuity tests on LV electrical equipment.

Requirements:

  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC) or equivalent.
  • 3 to 6 years' experience in maintenance on oil and gas production installations.
  • Basic knowledge of oil and gas treatment processes and equipment.

Electrical Specific:

  • HV & LV power distribution and control networks.
  • HV & LV motor drives and Alternators.
  • Inverters, high voltage cells, variable speed units, Lighting networks, switchgear, etc.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more.
  • Required authorisations: Experience working with HV & LV power distribution and control networks, HV & LV motor drives and Alternators, Inverters, high voltage cells, variable speed units, Lighting networks, switchgear, etc.

English (D-Full professional proficiency)
