Job Opportunity

CEA is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to extend the capabilities of the AMITEX code, a massively parallel code for numerical simulation of heterogeneous materials.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have completed a thesis in numerical mechanics and have a strong interest in computer development, particularly through open source codes.

Responsibilities

  • Extend the field of application of the AMITEX code to non-periodic boundary conditions
  • Explore the adaptation of the code to hybrid CPU/GPU architectures
  • Develop FFT-based multi-scale couplings using the 2decomp library

Requirements

  • PhD in numerical mechanics or related field
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in C++ and Fortran
  • Experience with GPU programming a plus
