Job Description:Position Overview
The CEA is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to extend the capabilities of the AMITEX code, a massively parallel code for numerical simulation of mechanical behavior of heterogeneous materials. The successful candidate will work on developing non-periodic boundary conditions, exploring hybrid CPU/GPU architectures, and implementing multi-scale couplings.
Key Responsibilities
- Extend the AMITEX code to include non-periodic boundary conditions
- Explore the use of hybrid CPU/GPU architectures for improved performance
- Develop multi-scale couplings using the AMITEX code
Requirements
- PhD in numerical mechanics or related field
- Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Fortran
- Experience with GPU programming and parallel computing
- Good understanding of materials science and numerical methods
