Postdoctoral Researcher in Homogeneous Catalysis and Molecular Electrochemistry

Join our team at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) as a postdoctoral researcher in homogeneous catalysis and molecular electrochemistry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to work on the development of new methods for the carboxylation of olefins using electrochemical processes.

Job Description

The recruited postdoctoral fellow will work on the design and application of new methodologies for the synthesis of industrially relevant carboxylic acids, such as acrylic or adipic acid. The work will involve preparing molecular metallic complexes, running electrocatalytic tests, and conducting mechanistic studies.

Requirements

The applicant must hold a PhD in molecular chemistry with experience in catalysis and/or electrochemistry. The CEA actively participates in collaborative projects with academic and industrial partners, and the recruited postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.

Benefits

The CEA offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth. The recruited postdoctoral fellow will also have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit their application, including a CV and a cover letter, to the CEA's human resources department. The application process is open to all, and the CEA offers accommodations and/or organizational possibilities for the inclusion of disabled workers.
