About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Development Manager to join our team at Volvo. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the 3PL and Retailer sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate customer leads and build a portfolio of recurring clients
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Volvo's commercial strategy in your area of responsibility and customers portfolio
  • Build a project sales approach specific to each customer's needs, including understanding customer requirements, developing tailored solutions, and driving their execution
  • Promote long-term partnerships with customers, strengthening Volvo's position as a best-in-class business partner on their transformation journey

Requirements:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships in complex environments
  • Customer obsession with a holistic view to build trust
  • High communication and listening skills
  • Engagement for sustainability transition (environment, health, and safety)
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work cross-functionally in project mode
  • Fluent English and French
  • Agile and eager to learn and share
  • LCV and last-mile delivery application knowledge would be a plus
  • Background with E-mobility would be a plus
