The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Information Security Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Solutions Group, you will play a critical role in promoting security initiatives, ensuring policy compliance, and protecting Axway's sensitive data and critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Interface with technical teams to promote security initiatives and ensure policy compliance.
- Participate in 24x7x365 monitoring, incident analysis, and response to information security-related threats.
- Value documentation creation and communication, leveraging technical experience to enhance team collaboration.
- Collaborate with the Director, Cybersecurity and various IT Teams to support the IT Security Mission.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in SOC Analyst or similar roles.
- Proficient in triage and escalation of alerts, incident management, and response.
- Experience in reports preparation, dashboard creation, and documentation.
- Technical IT Engineer experience, including network, server, and desktop administration.
- Security engineering experience, including SIEM, AV technology, and security configurations.
Demonstrated Knowledge and/or Experience
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts, including cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, and incident management.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies and architectures.
Lead and/or Management Experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems with limited direction.
- Strong focus on customer service in all work efforts.
Preferred Skills
- CISSP, SANS GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, CompTIA Network+, Security+ or equivalent industry-recognized certifications.
- Intermediate to Expert knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
- Malware analysis experience.
- Forensic recovery experience.
