Job Summary

Imerys is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) Controller to join our team in EMEA and APAC. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting the FPA Controlling Director in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the monthly and quarterly reporting at Business Area level, including full P&L, variances, FOCF, and OWC.
  • Participate in the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes at Business Area level.
  • Manage financial dashboards and control BA overheads on a monthly basis.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure data consistency between BI/Finance reporting, liaising with IT BRM/BPOs.
  • Assist the FPA Director in ad-hoc projects initiated by Group or Business Area.
Accountability
  • Run analysis that delivers insight and recommendations to Business Area leadership for strategic and operational planning decisions.
  • Participate in budget, forecast, planning, and modeling of tools and processes.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of financial processes and business analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and recommended actions.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Magnitude, and Excel/Google sheet skills (advanced).
Ideal Background/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in financial control departments.
  • Experience with financial reporting cycles, such as forecasts, budgets, and planning.
