An esteemed international insurance firm is seeking a Senior Consultant for Process Optimization.

As a vital member of the Process Reengineering Center of Excellence (CoE), the Senior Consultant will be tasked with enhancing processes through established methodologies and principles.

Positioned within the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) division, the Process Reengineering CoE aims to foster efficiency and propel innovation via digitalization and automation, while reinforcing the framework of controls to mitigate operational risks.

Job Overview

The CTO division serves as a robust capability that drives execution with a focus on value realization, assisting each Comex function in crafting and executing transformational initiatives and key projects while guiding the overall transformation journey.

The Senior Consultant will leverage process improvement and reengineering methodologies to:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the organization across various process reengineering requirements, emphasizing process simplification, standardization, and automation, while also addressing controls and their potential for prevention and automation.
  • Implement the established Process Management Framework and a unified approach to Process Reengineering throughout the organization, including methodologies, BPMN language, Process Taxonomy, and tooling, through targeted process reengineering initiatives, training, communication, and change management support.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. The Senior Consultant's primary responsibilities encompass (but are not limited to):
  • Engaging with all management levels and collaborating with diverse departments to comprehend their specific process needs and challenges.
  • Conducting thorough evaluations of existing processes and KPIs, documenting current processes, managing and analyzing data, and proposing enhanced business processes.
  • Offering expertise based on prior experience in training and technical assistance, business process analysis, change management, and other performance enhancement strategies.
  • Advising senior leaders on the optimal and efficient utilization of resources to ensure positive and measurable outcomes.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of policies and procedures essential for supporting Operations processes.
  • Facilitating the ongoing development and evolution of the process management framework and feedback mechanisms with business/process owners to foster a mindset of continuous improvement and effective collaboration.
  • Supporting the establishment of operational KPIs and reporting/monitoring systems to enhance visibility, change management, and effective interaction (utilizing data) with staff and senior leadership.
  • Overseeing process reengineering timelines, coordinating with stakeholders and other internal partners to ensure value-added delivery within agreed timelines.

Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and nurturing a mindset of innovation and ongoing enhancement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's Degree.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Improvement, Performance Measurement, or Project Implementation.
  • Proven track record in reengineering business processes and driving adoption across an organization or department.
  • Solid understanding of business process streamlining methodologies.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for effective execution.
  • Accreditation in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bizagi.
  • Fluency in English, either bilingual or native.
